Boot Cafe

What a fun and small place. It's been to smallest coffee shop I've ever been to. I would say the total area was about 6-8 phone booths (if you remember those). Like always, I am not great judging espresso based drinks. I had two drinks a "double espresso" and a cortado. As noted on post 1 of 2, espressos in Paris tend to have a more upfront acidic flavor to it and I would consider them more complex. I share the same impression with Boot Cafe. Their cortado has been one the best I've tasted so far. Hard to describe with words, but I will say smooth and a good balance between the sweetness of the milk and the flavor profile of the espresso.

This small shop reminded me how small the World (or Paris) is. The barista at the shop asked me where I was originally from, I told him Puerto Rico.  A lady in the room mentioned to his friend something about Puerto Rico, I looked at her and then tells me how many many years ago she had a roommate in Boston who studied at the University of Puerto Rico, which happens to also be the school I went to. After a brief conversation she shared a local app to find local shops: Coffee(In) Touch Paris
