It seems that the upcoming trend is having products that taste like coffee. My chiropractors gave me a sample (thanks!) of mushroom coffee. This product comes in individual packets to be diluted on 7 ounces of hot water, in other word it is "instant coffee". Instant coffee is generally bad. But this product had zero resemblance to coffee flavor. Bottom line, it was a disappointment. I had a Gordon Ramsay moment and ended up discarding the "coffee"... Good try, but not my cup of coffee. If you are seeking the claimed medical benefits of mushrooms, feel free to give it a try. But the product I tasted doesn't deserve to mention coffee on its label.
